We join or run several community events throughout the year. This provides an opportunity to have conversations and share experiences in relation to our Gold Coast marine and coastal environment. As a stall holder at these events, we often run activities for children to learn about the local marine wildlife.

There are multiple community groups on the Gold Coast who have been involved in field experiences with Ocean Connect. Examples are Scout groups, surf life saving clubs and after school care groups. 

Ocean Connect offers a range of school holiday programs. including shore exploration, mangrove walks and marine biology field days.  We have previously delivered programs for the City of Gold Coast, Probus clubs and Surf Clubs in the region.
